GamsGo Marketplace Commission Rules
To better reflect differences in product type, fulfillment risk, after-sales cost, and operational strategy, the platform may apply different commission rules based on factors such as the product’s category, sub-category, attributes, service period, and the merchant’s level.
This document is intended to help merchants understand the basic structure and application logic of platform commissions. For the actual commission rate, please refer to the current display in the seller dashboard, order settlement page, product listing page, or any separate platform notice.
I.What Is a Platform Commission?
A platform commission is the service fee charged by the platform after a transaction is completed, based on the applicable commission rules for that order.
Platform commissions may include the following two parts:
- Commission Rate: a percentage charged based on the transaction amount of the order.
- Fixed Commission: an additional fixed service fee that may apply to certain products or rules.
Depending on the product and the rule applied, the platform may charge only a percentage-based commission, or both a percentage-based commission + fixed commission.
II.Why Does the Platform Set Different Commission Rates?
Different products may vary significantly in the following aspects:
- Level of market competition
- After-sales service cost
- Fulfillment difficulty
- Risk control requirements
- Compliance management cost
- User experience assurance cost
- Stage-based platform operating strategy
For this reason, the platform does not apply one single commission rate to all products. Instead, commission structures are configured differently based on actual business conditions.
For example:
- Some products involve heavier after-sales pressure, so a relatively higher commission may apply;
- Some products are strategic focus categories for the platform, so a more competitive rate may be offered;
- Some products differ in service period, benefit structure, supply model, or risk profile, so the platform may set different rates by month, quarter, year, or other dimensions.
III.Why Can Similar Products Still Have Different Commission Rates?
Even when products appear to belong to the same general type, their commissions may still differ. Common reasons include, but are not limited to:
- Different sub-categories
- Different service periods
- Different product attributes or versions
- Different fulfillment requirements
- Different risk levels
- Different matched rule priorities
- Different merchant levels
- Different stage-based platform policies
Therefore, merchants should not rely solely on other products, other sellers, or past experience to estimate the actual commission of a current product. The system display shall prevail.
IV.Merchant Level Discount Mechanism
To encourage reliable fulfillment, stable operations, and better service performance, the platform may offer differentiated commission benefits based on the merchant’s level.
In general:
- The higher the merchant level, the lower the applicable commission may be;
- Under the same commission rule, different merchant levels may correspond to different rate tiers;
- Under some rules, higher-level merchants may also enjoy fixed commission reductions or more favorable settlement terms.
This means that the final commission actually applied depends not only on the rule matched to the product, but also on the merchant’s current level.
Please note:
- Merchant levels are determined in real time by the platform system;
- If a merchant’s level changes, the applicable commission result may also change accordingly;
- Certain special rules, campaign rules, or dedicated rules may not fully follow the standard merchant-level discount logic. Please refer to the system display or official platform notice.
V.Commission Adjustment Policy
The platform may add, modify, suspend, or remove commission rules based on factors such as market changes, business strategy, risk control requirements, after-sales costs, and product structure adjustments.
This may include, but is not limited to:
- Adding dedicated commission rules for certain product types;
- Adjusting commission rates for specific sub-categories;
- Adjusting rates for products with different service periods;
- Adjusting fixed commission amounts;
- Adjusting discount levels linked to merchant levels;
- Applying special support policies or special management rules to certain products.
If such adjustments occur, the platform may notify merchants through one or more of the following channels:
- Help Center updates
- On-site notifications
- Seller dashboard display
- Product listing page prompts
- Order settlement page display
- Other platform announcement channels
Unless otherwise stated, updated rules generally apply to new orders from the effective date onward.
VI.What Merchants Should Pay Attention To
To avoid operational issues caused by misunderstandings about commissions, merchants are advised to pay close attention to the following:
- Confirm Before Listing
Before publishing a product, please confirm that the category, attributes, service period, and displayed commission shown in the system are correct.
- The System Display Prevails
This Help Center document is intended only to explain the rule logic. It does not constitute a fixed commitment for any specific product, order, or future commission rate.
- Stay Updated
The platform may continue to optimize its fee structure. Merchants should regularly review the Help Center and dashboard notifications.
- Fill in Product Information Accurately
If product details such as title, attributes, duration, version, or benefit description are inaccurate, this may lead to incorrect rule matching. The platform reserves the right to correct, adjust, or otherwise handle such cases based on actual circumstances.
- Special Products May Be Subject to Dedicated Rules
Some products may be subject to separate commission plans due to business strategy, supply model, after-sales characteristics, or risk management requirements.

VIII.Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: Why is my product commission different from someone else’s?
This may be because the product matched a different rule priority level, or because the merchants are at different levels. Even for similar products, rates may vary depending on service period, attributes, version, and sub-category.
Q2: Why is the actual order commission higher than the rate I saw for the main category?
Because the product may have matched a higher-priority sub-rule or special rule. The system normally applies the most specific applicable rule first.
Q3: Will my commission automatically decrease after my merchant level increases?
In general, if the applicable rule supports level-based discounts, the system will apply the corresponding rate based on the merchant’s current level. Please refer to the actual system display.
Q4: Will the platform notify merchants in advance of commission changes?
The platform may provide updates or notices through the Help Center, on-site notifications, dashboard display, and other channels depending on the actual situation. However, the final effective method and time shall be subject to the platform’s final notice.
Q5: Does the Help Center explanation apply to all products in a fixed way?
No. The Help Center is a rule explanation document only. The actual result for any specific product shall be subject to the real-time system display.
