It’s simple — the two services have different underlying costs.
Lightning Recharge supports YouTube Music and is processed based on the country information in your account, so the recharge is completed in your own country — offering better compatibility and stability.
It also has a lower chance of being blocked by Google’s security system.
Because of this, Lightning Recharge costs more than the standard Recharge.
If you'd like to upgrade while your order is still being processed, or switch to Lightning Recharge after a failed recharge,
you can do so by paying only the price difference.

Q: I’ve already submitted a recharge order, but it’s still processing. Can I upgrade to Lightning Recharge ?
A: Yes! As long as your recharge hasn’t been completed yet (i.e. you haven’t received the confirmation email),
you can upgrade at any time. We’ll use the same account info you already submitted — no need to fill it out again.
Q: My recharge failed. Can I switch to Lightning Recharge instead?
A: Yes, you can.
However, since failures are often caused by incorrect account info,
you’ll need to double-check and resubmit accurate account details before we can proceed.
We’ll reprocess your request based on the updated information.
